We recognize there is a need for in-home euthanasia to support families and pets in having a peaceful passing in the comfort of their home. As pet owners who have all valued a private, personal goodbye for our own loved furry friends, we understand how much this can mean to a family. We are honored to offer this service to families as we are able.

We do in-home euthanasias in the following towns: Bannockburn, Deerfield, Glencoe, Glenview, Highwood, Highland Park, Knollwood, Lake Bluff, Lake Forest, Libertyville, Lincolnshire, Northbrook, Northfield, Riverwoods, Vernon Hills, Wilmette, and Winnetka.
Other communities may be available for an additional travel fee.

In home euthanasia includes:
Veterinarian home visit and quick medical evaluation
Pre-sedation to ensure a calm environment
Gentle euthanasia
Nose and paw ink prints
Cost: $495
Weekend, evening, or holidays may be $100-200 additional cost.
Payment is required at the time of scheduling (an invoice is sent via email or text).
We mainly provide services for dogs and cats, but you may inquire about other species
Travel fees may apply if outside the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff area
Behavioral euthanasia (aggression or reasons other than illness/mobility problems) are not offered at this time. If your pet is alert and appears healthy on examination, we may decline euthanasia and reserve the right not to refund your pre-paid cost. Please ask prior to payment if you have questions or concerns about this policy.
Cremation services
We highly recommend Pet Cremation By Water (in Arlington Heights, IL). If you wish to have your pet cremated, please contact them to schedule a pick up or drop off.
